Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020

Based on the “Olympic Agenda 2020″, the Tokyo Olympics aimed at the sustainability of the Olympics. The main stadium was the new National Stadium, which was a reconstruction of the National Stadium that had been the main stadium for the 1964 Olympic Games. Competitions were held in each venue group divided into a zone using existing facilities and a coastal Tokyo Bay zone. As a cost manager for optimizing overlay construction costs for existing and new facilities, SFC has contributed extensively to the project through comprehensive cost management of each facility using WBS and implementation of VE

EXPO2005, Aichi

A large-scale international exhibition since Osaka World Exposition held, whose theme is “Wisdom of nature”. 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) was set as a slogan for the construction of facilities. SFC promoted the reduction of facilities construction costs, and the efficient use and reuse of resources by the coherent cost management during plan, design, ordering, procurement, construction and dismantling stages.

IZU Velodrome

First Japanese indoor velodrome. The wooden truck is a design by the Germans of the UCI (Union Cycliste International) authorization. The facility was unprecedented in Japan with the boarding of the world standard, a 250 m truck, 1,800 seats of permanent construction. SFC managed the project from a business plan stage to the completion and contributed to the cost reduction by introducing the scheme of Design & Build.

Chukyo Race Course

A project to refurbish grandstand, racecourse and car park of the Chukyo racetrack. SFC prepared accommodation requirement and conducted pre-qualification process. By introducing cross-industrial tender, SFC contributed to the reduction of the construction cost.
