Shiba Park day-care center for children
A project to refurbish exiting sport facilities including swimming pool to a nursery school. The design was developed approx. 3 years ago. Reviewing it with a new perspective, SFC produced the high added value to facilities, by providing VE exercise aiming to save LCC/LCCO2 and improve seismic capacity.
International Residence – Yamate, and Foreign Students House
The lodgings for students and researchers from overseas in Nagoya University, where privacy and communication are paid adequate attention to as people in different genders and nationality live in. SFC, as the construction manger, contributed to achieve the planned budget by providing optimal procurement strategy, cost estimate prior to the bid and VE exercise in design phase.
Nagoya City Science Museum
The facilities which are composed of two wings; Science technology & Astronomy wing and Life wing. Its shape is unique. A spherical structure is designed between two wings, in which the world’s largest planetarium is installed. While considering the requirement of the owner and respecting the design intention, SFC performed VE exercise in the design phase which led to reduction of the construction cost and load to environment.
