New construction for the Japanese subsidiary office of the global IT company, where 6,000 employees work. Making use of the site characteristic, where is in downtown area near a river and a park, the owner tries to create the space that is comfortable, and is energy saving on the theme of “control and utilization of the light and the wind” to promote the collaboration inside and outside the company. As the Construction Manager, SFC kept the cooperation with the American head office team and contributed for project implementation by providing various project management services such as cost control, procurement, schedule control and quality control. This project was given the 25th Nikkei new office prize, Prize for new office promotion.
